These two pieces solve different problems. The sofa bed is for a room that has to be a living room by day and a spare room by night. It is low, firm and light enough for one person to rearrange, and it takes up 75.6 by 37.8 inches when it sits as a sofa.

Why Olimix exists
Olimix started in 2022 with a question that almost everyone in a small apartment asks sooner or later: where does the guest sleep? The usual answer is a sofa with a metal fold-out, and anyone who has slept on one knows the bar that runs across the middle of your back. We wanted a sofa that turns into a bed with no mechanism at all.
So the first Olimix piece was exactly that. It has no frame. It is blocks of dense foam in a soft chenille cover, and you move it between four shapes with your hands: sofa, lounger, daybed and a flat guest bed. It arrives rolled and compressed, and it needs two or three days to reach full size. You will not need a screwdriver.
It is firm. Some owners love that and some do not, and both are right. If you like to sink into a sofa and disappear, this one will disappoint you. If you want a seat that keeps its shape after a year of film nights and a dog, this is the one.
The patio sets came next, for a simple reason. The people who wanted a flexible sofa indoors also wanted to sit outside in the evening, and a fixed outdoor sofa never fits the patio you actually have. Our wicker sets are separate modules on a steel frame, wrapped in PE rattan. Build a U around the table, run them in a line along a wall, or split them into an L and two loose chairs.

Olimix for the patio
Two wicker sets built from separate modules. Both share one pool of ratings, because owners review them as one family.
Those sets take work to put together. Owners talk about a few hours with the screws, and the hardware comes spread over more than one box. We would rather you know that now than on a Saturday afternoon with a driveway full of cardboard.
The L-shaped sectional came last. Small homes run out of floor, but they run out of cupboard space first. So every seat, and the ottoman, lifts on a spring hinge over a drawer 31.5 inches wide, 23.6 inches deep and 6 inches high. Blankets, board games and the spare pillows all go underneath.

The seats are deep on purpose. Each one is 35 inches wide and 31.5 inches deep, more than most sofas give you. Tall people stretch out. Shorter people will want a cushion behind their back, and we say so on the page for that piece rather than hide it.
Before a set goes on sale, it lives with one of the people behind Olimix for a while. The modules get pushed around, sat on, stepped over and rearranged far more times than any photograph suggests. That is how we learned which shapes work on a narrow balcony and which ones only work in a catalogue.

Questions people ask before they buy
Does the sofa bed need any assembly?
No. It arrives rolled and vacuum packed. Cut the wrap, unroll it and give the foam 48 to 72 hours to reach full size before anyone sleeps on it.
Open it in the room where it will live. It is 82 pounds once unpacked and it does not fold back into the box.
Is the sofa bed firm or soft?
Firm. The seat is high density foam with no springs, and several owners say it is too firm for sleeping every night.
For a guest who stays a weekend it works well. As your only bed for a year, most people would want a topper.
How long does a patio set take to put together?
Plan on an afternoon. Owners report two to three hours for one person once the first two chairs are done.
The 7 piece set comes in two boxes and the 8 piece in three, and they do not always arrive on the same day. Wait for all of them before you start.
Can the patio cushions stay out in the rain?
The covers are water resistant on the 7 piece set and listed as waterproof on the 8 piece, and both come off for washing. Neither is meant to sit soaked for days.
Bring the cushions in or cover the set before a long wet spell, and store them dry over winter.
Which side does the L of the sectional go on?
Either. The ottoman and the arm sections swap sides, so the chaise can sit left or right and you can change your mind after a move.
Are the covers washable?
Yes, on all four lines. The sofa bed and the sectional have removable covers on the seat and back cushions, and the patio sets have removable cushion covers.
Wash cold on a gentle cycle and let them dry flat. Put them back on while they are fully dry.
